They struck powerfully. On the ground aching, bleeding, the mace lays
beside you. You want to pick it up, strike back. Where will it swing though,
how heavy will it hang in your hand, will it create balance, or will it create
a power you are not aligned with, will it make you a mace holder. I don't
want the mace, I need to hold the gash with the hands I have or I might
lose consciousness.
